Rebecca Reed Photography| Website Transformation & Revival
A snapshot of my home page
Well, it has been hard work but my new refreshed and redesigned website is finally live 🎉
We quietly set it live the first week of February to iron out any kinks before this announcement - who noticed - Hands up 🙋🏻♀️
I must thank my sister who has worked so hard to make the website what it is now. Without her help, I would still be pulling my hair out about refreshing my site and I’d likely still be working on the homepage!
We will continue to tweak and improve this site, but hopefully you will find it much more user-friendly.
A website for my photography business is so important because not only is it a platform to my event photography albums but it’s an online portfolio and could be the difference between someone picking me as their photographer or choosing someone else.
I think the new site design, colours etc reflect me and what I am trying to achieve in my photography.
What’s New on Rebecca Reed Photography?
1. Find everything you need on the home page
Literally, everything is on the home page! From links to my event galleries to information on photoshoots and reviews, it’s all there and can be easily found with a simple scroll or by using the quick links. Zoom past the photo of me (I needed convincing that you all needed to see my face, but apparently, it’s important - great! I am just like most out there, I don’t like having my photo taken, why do you think I am behind the camera?!
Anyway, scroll past me to see the links to all my event galleries. Move down again and you will discover the summary of my photoshoot sessions. This includes everything that is included in each package together with the price of each unique option. Then you will end on some lovely reviews before a form to contact me. Behind each of these items, there are more detailed pages, if you want to dig deeper. Use the buttons at the top to see my portfolio, discover events I am booked to attend, full information on photoshoots and more!

2. A cleaner site which is easier to navigate
We have tried to remove unnecessary elements and distractions, I want the images to speak for themselves. We have added buttons to help you navigate including the quick link button to take you straight to the information you are looking for and my “back to the top” button to quickly return to the top of the page you are viewing.
3. A Portfolio That Pops!
I’ve revamped my portfolio to make it easier for you to explore. Now, you can easily navigate through different categories, from portraits to bonds and connections to events and more, without feeling like you’re drowning in a sea of images.
Each section has some of my favourite images to show of my photography. And here’s the fun part: I’ll update these galleries regularly with fresh shots, so you’ll always find something new to check out! Who knows—maybe your dog will even make an appearance. Keep an eye out—you never know when your furry friend might steal the spotlight!

4. Built for phone-friendly browsing
Let’s face it: most of us are glued to our phones these days! So, making sure my website looks amazing and works perfectly on mobile was a top priority. Now, whether you’re scrolling through my site on your phone, tablet, or desktop, you’ll have a smooth, seamless experience. No more awkward zooming or pinching to get things to fit! Whether you’re on the go or just lounging at home, you can enjoy my work anywhere, anytime.
5. Speedy Images & SEO Magic
I’ve worked hard to make sure my images load faster without losing any of their quality. I admit this is not entirely complete, but we are working to get this finalised. I’ve given the SEO on my site a much-needed boost, when I say I, I mean my sister. I take ZERO credit for this. I have to give a huge shoutout to my sister (again!) who has had countless chats with the elusive SEO gods to ensure everything is on is working as it should. Honestly, she’s got way more patience than I do! But hey, it’s all worth it to make sure you can find my work easily online.
6. Blog Section
The blog section has always been a part of my website but I plan to utilise it more. The blog section will share photography tips, client stories, behind-the-scenes content, and updates. Hopefully, you will learn a bit more about me, and why I love photography so much.

7. Testimonial/reviews Section - Paws the moment
Client testimonials are now prominently featured. This is such an important section of my website. It was an emotional experience collating all your wonderful comments and reviews. Thank you to everybody who has taken time out of their day to send me kind comments or leave official reviews on Google and Facebook. This section is bursting with lovely words, if it wasn’t for you all taking the time to leave feedback this section wouldn’t be what it is today. Check out my video on this page to see how I have “pawsed the moment” for some amazing humans & their dogs and horses.
