There is a time of day called golden hour where the light is unbeatable for portraits, that said nothing is guaranteed with light.

Golden hour is the period of time before sunset or after sunrise.

If you want action photos then we need good light - this doesn’t mean bright sunshine in the middle of the day however. Bright sunshine creates harsh brights and shadow on photos.

A cloudy day produces much more pleasing images that a really bright sunny day does not due to the diffused light. Do not be put off by a cloudy day if your photoshoot falls on a cloudy day. We can get some stunning images.

Rain can also be effective - See Rhea’s photoshoot with Colin and Reggie. I completely understand if a wet soggy dog is not what you are looking for in your photos.

Should there be considerable rain on our photoshoot and we don’t get some beautiful portraits I will come and re-shoot a short session for free (as long this is in a reasonable vicinity to Bradford on Avon).

If you aren’t sure where you would like your photoshoot to take place I have numerous suggestion for lovely settings. These range from places in the Cotswold like the cotswold water park to shearwater lake and heavens gate or place. We are bless in Wiltshire (and the surrounding counties) with lots of lovely varied countryside to pick from)

If you have a walk you and your dog love I can join you on your walk and I pick places for shots as we go.

Absolutely not. We can complete the photoshoot with the dog on lead and I can edit the lead out as if it was never there in post processing.

Absolutely, being an owner of a nervous/shy dog, I completely relate to the needs of your dog.

I watch for body language to ensure your dog is comfortable and I will be led by you as you know your dog the best.

We can hire a secure dog walking field. There will be no rush or pressure on your dog, we go at their speed and I take all the time that is needed to ensure your dog is happy with me and the camera before we begin taking photos.

I have a passion for senior dogs, as the guardian of two collies who are golden oldies.

Our senior citizens are the sweetest of souls. I will fit you in at short notice and tailor the photoshoot so they enjoy the experience.

Absolutely - this is the purpose of my puppy packages so we can document the progression of your puppy.

These are not limited to puppies though. If you want multiple shoots on your adolescent, adult or any age dog then the package prices of the puppies will apply - 2 shoots, 4 shoots or 6 shoots.

If you want more than 6 - no problem. I will design you a bespoke package.

I also offer multi shoot discounts if you did not want to buy a package.

No. They were designed with puppies in mind to track the progression of quickly changing pups, but the packages are not limited to this age group.

If you want a multi shoot package for your dog, these are available regardless of their age.
